Have You Tested Your Home Drinking Water?
Have you tested your water at home? Most of us think that water testing is something that has to be done in a lab. But recent advances in home water test kits have made it so that the average consumer can test their water easily and quickly right at home. Water testing is something that we all should be doing as the water supply that comes from municipal water supplies are only required by the EPA to check around 85 different contaminants. There is known over 2000 different contaminants that can be in our water supply.
We choose the Watersafe All-In-One home test kit. For less than twenty bucks, the test kit tests for Bacteria, Chlorine, Lead, Pesticides, Nitrates, Nitrides, pH,and hardness of water. All of the tests are done at home and the results are quick and easy to read. We were quite surprised at the amount of contaminants that were in our water. We ordered two of the kits to test it after we installed our water filter. Filter worked like a champ and now my wife and I are sure that our family are getting the best water we can get!
