How to Stick to the Medifast Diet When on Vacation
The Medifast diet works well for many people, but it does require users to stick with the prepared meals that are provided. So how does this work when the user is on vacation or otherwise away from home? The first step is to plan ahead. Find out if the place you’re staying will have a refrigerator and a microwave. If not, then look for Medifast meals and snacks that don’t require refrigeration or reheating. If you’re staying in a hotel, they may have an employee refrigerator in which they’re willing to store meals. It doesn’t hurt to call ahead and ask.
Once you know how you’ll get access to the foods you need, then you’ll decide on a game plan. The best diet plans should be followed to the T for optimal success, but you may know that a situation will arise where you can’t stick to your diet. For example, you may be attending a wedding reception, and you may feel that you don’t want to be singled out by not eating. If this is the case, then know it ahead of time. Give yourself permission to take this one day off your diet, but know that you will get back on track the next day, and don’t use it as an excuse to go too far astray!
