Love Monkeys? This Jewelry is for You!
Where can you find monkey pendants, charms and so forth that are adorable, realistic and whimsical at the same time? Well, I will tell you, but you’ll have to listen carefully! (I don’t want too many people to know about it!) I don’t mean to be coy, but at the same time jewelry is more appealing to me if everyone and her sister aren’t wearing them. At the same time, I suppose there are enough silver jewelry designs to go around, without any one style becoming overwhelming. But I still like to think of these darling monkey charms as my personal discovery.
Handcrafted nature jewelry is everywhere these days. You can find silver castings of leaves, artist’s renderings of shells and so forth. But for me, by far, the best wildlife type silver necklaces and earrings are done like a small piece of sculpture. I am drawn to the way artists represent the world around them. I think it gives all of us a glimpse into their soul.
How would I know this? Just my own observation. But if you look at wearable art from that viewpoint, I think you’ll understand what I mean.
