			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Rumors are flowing that obtaining visas to get into China for the 2008 summer olympics is taking a long time and in some cases just not coming at all.  Layer onto that recent rumors that the Chinese government is making it difficult for one or more country&#8217;s news and reporting crews and equipment to get set up.  More rumors yet circulate about the government keeping a tight lid on where the the foreigners can film reports.</p>
<p>The Olympics have always been about an event that is bigger than politics &#8211; it would be a shame to see politics control this event in 2008.</p>
