The Ease of a Greenhouse Kit
I have built and bought greenhouses and I can definitively say that installing greenhouse kits is far easier than building them. That is not to say that there is not great satisfaction from pointing to a green house that you have built from scratch and saying, “I did that!” If you have a lot of time to do the research, find a plan that will work for you with detailed instructions including a good materials and cut list, then I say go for it! If not, you might want to consider a kit.
Either way you will also need to find the right greenhouse accessories to go with your grow house. These might include a heater if you are planning to use your greenhouse in the winter months or live in colder climates and need heat in the early spring and late fall months. You will also need to look at ventilation and circulation accessories to make sure you are moving the air and getting the maximum potential out of the house. Make sure you have more as opposed to less as it is always a hassle to add once you are finished. Kits should come with enough vents for the size you purchase.
